About me

Alicia Jones began singing as a young girl in church. The first song she ever sang was "The Lord's Prayer" at the age of 4 years old, her mother would mouth the words to her from the front row. Alicia's mother pushed her to sing at every church event and community outing to keep her from being shy and nervous about singing in front of big crowds.

Alicia joined her High School choir as a freshman because of her love for singing. The high school choir director put Alicia and two other friends in the "Supremes" impersonation group, where they performed various Supreme songs. Alicia was Diana Ross! During her time in high school, Alicia became pregnant at the tender age of 16 years old and although many people doubted her ability to succeed, Alicia graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2008 and completed her Master's Degree for Counseling in 2015 from St. Edwards University. Alicia is currently working on becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. Alicia is the mother of two daughters who also enjoy singing and is married to her high school sweetheart, Corey Jones. Alicia has continued to use her voice as a way to communicate with others by way of speaking, encouraging or with her musical talent. Alicia has sang and spoke at multiple conferences around the world and auditioned for many singing competitions including Sunday Best. Alicia was the runner up for a gospel competition at the Essence Festival in New Orleans where she sang in front of gospel legends like Hezekiah Walker, Tamela Mann and Vashawn Mitchell. Alicia is currently leading in the United Fellowship of Believers of Austin praise choir and leads the group in quarterly praise services. She is also the praise and worship leader at her local church Austin Love Ministries where she leads the congregation in anointed praise and worship each week. Alicia sings with power and versatility. Whatever song she sings, she makes it fit her style and voice. She was trained by her mother and aunt Diana who sang with Sly and the Family Stone, Diana helped Alicia develop her voice strength and made sure that Alicia's harmony was always on point. Alicia plans to continue to use her voice as a way to reach those that come in contact with her.
